It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust thanks to generous local businesses for donating to help light up the hospital sites.
A special thank you to E H Humphries, Cotswold Lifts, Bry-Kol, ABGO, Eyre and Elliston, C T Pumps and Wolverson Xray for donating to help light up the hospital sites this Christmas.
Cotswold Lifts said “Cotswold Lifts have a proud history of provision of lift installation and maintenance for various NHS Trusts spanning over 30 years.Given the close relationship we have developed with the Trust, we are proud to support New Cross Hospital with the Christmas appeal to LIFT the spirits of all and spread a little festive cheer.”

Events Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to help out at our events. This could include supporting the team with developing events, welcoming participants, or cheering our runners and cyclists on. Whatever your role on the day, we guarantee you’ll have an amazing time!
Promoter
Do you like meeting people and enjoy striking up conversations with people of all ages across our communities? If so, our Promoter role could be the one for you! This would require you to have pop up stands within the hospital and local community, visit local shops and businesses and promote the work of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity and ask them if they would like a Charity collection tin. Every few months you would be responsible for swapping the tins for an empty one and returning the full ones to us.
Arts and Heritage
This role is to support our exciting Arts and Heritage programme and our community project ‘Care, Create, Conserve’, which is based in a new Healthcare Heritage Hub. This role will support the successful delivery of the project with volunteers acting as ambassadors, engaging the public with the heritage on display in the Hub, and assisting with the events and workshops which take place in the space. You will be a friendly face to invite the public to explore the exhibition and will facilitate conversations around Wolverhampton’s healthcare heritage and the experience of healthcare today. As a part of this role, you will also have the opportunity to attend specialised training, learning new skills and gaining experience in areas including collections management, conservation, and curation.
